Children’s Art
Children are naturally connected to magic. Quality art helps keep that doorway open.
I noticed a gap when searching for artwork created for children. So often, the details are stripped back and the imagery simplified. As though young minds need less to engage with.
I believe the opposite is true.
Children’s minds are wonderful sponges. Curious, observant and hungry for discovery. They deserve art that honours their intelligence and gives their imagination somewhere beautiful to wander
My detailed, medicinal artworks are created as visual worlds to explore. Within every painting are intricate patterns, natural elements, hidden symbols, expressive creatures and tiny discoveries that reveal themselves slowly over time. A child may notice something new each time they look which creates stories, asking questions and forming their own relationship with the world inside the painting.
This is art designed to grow alongside them.
Rich, thoughtfully made medicinal artwork can transform bedrooms, nurseries, schools, libraries, hospitals, therapy rooms and community spaces into places of wonder. Rather than handing children one simple interpretation, it invites curiosity, imaginative thinking and the freedom to see beyond the obvious.
